A B2+ to C2 lesson based on two news articles about challenging, unusual trips.
Students read about an English teacher who cycled from Korea to London, then discuss idiomatic phrases and the article. They then do a jigsaw reading exercise based on another article featuring ten travel challenges. Finally, students work together to create their own travel challenges to present to other groups. They may try to recruit other classmates to join them on the adventure.
